3DA: How did you start working in 3D field? How much time has been passed and what kind of studies did you do?
MK: I started when I was in second year of architecture college approximately from 2004 I learned 3ds Max to visualize my college projects then I liked the field and started to develop my skills in 3D in general not for architecture only I worked on modeling, texturing, lighting, rendering and some more stuff.

3DA: Which are your favourite software and plugins for your daily projects?
MK: Mainly 3ds Max, Photoshop, Vray and sometimes I use Mental Ray and some plugins and scripts like floor generator, unfold3d, auto grass, randomizer, multi scatter, onyxtree storm…and some others.

3DA: Tell us something about a project that gave you great satisfactions
MK: Mainly 2 projects.”Rising” It was a competition on arabian cg community “maxforums.net” and I won the 1st prize then It was awarded by many galleries and magazines.
“Evermotion Archinterior vol 22” I worked this project for Evermotion studio, I enjoyed working with Evermotion stuff and we produced ten very nice scenes.

3DA: From where do you take inspiration for your artworks?
MK: From eye observation of many sources like nature and landscapes; old buildings and areas; online websites on internet; cinema and TV; books and magazines; other artist’s works that inspire me, like Marek Denko, Alex Roman, Juan Siquier…etc

3DA: How do you live this period of economic crisis? How is it in your country?
MK: Generally 3d artists should have many sources of work and jobs it depend on portfolio and how the artists marketing to themselves widely around the world through the internet. In the period of economic crisis the work became less than the normal times. My country didn’t affect strongly with this period and I was working in interior design office in the first of the period of economic crisis but of course the salaries and prices of freelance works were not good as before.

3DA: What would you suggest to people that are approaching to 3D and architecture?
MK: They should be interested in the field before entering it because enjoying and happiness during the work process equal amazing results and quick developing in skills. Also they should be patient and doing many tests and studies will lead them to more knowledge and nice outputs. And of course they should see a lot of works and inspiration source to gain more sense.
