Real-time rendering in architectural visualization is transforming the way architects and designers develop, present, and refine their projects. On February 23, Maxon released Redshift 2026.3, a new update focused primarily on quality-of-life improvements and stability enhancements. Rather than introducing major new tools, this release refines existing features and addresses bugs reported in earlier 2026 versions.

Lumion View is a new plug-in for SketchUp and Revit, offering real-time visualization that lets architects and designers see their projects instantly while modeling. Introduced in early access in March 2025, the tool integrates directly into modeling software, enabling designers to explore their ideas in real time without leaving their CAD or BIM environment.
