3DA: How did you start working in 3D field? How much time has been passed?
BL: My name is Bruno Lima, I am 30 years old and I’m Brazilian. Luiz Andrade and I are partners at DPI Studio. We started to produce still images at the architecture and urbanism course in the university in 2002.

3DA: Which are your favourite software and plugins for your daily projects?
BL: We use several applications but the most used are 3ds Max, Vray and Photoshop.

3DA: Tell us something about a project that gave you great satisfactions
BL: Every new project is a great satisfaction. We always strive to achieve the best result for our customers. Surely it would be unfair to remember one or two special projects because every project has its own characteristics that make it special. But I would like to mention a project we developed in Portugal and one for the Charles Darwin Building, which will be the tallest building in our city.

3DA: From where do you take ispiration for your artworks?
BL: We are always connected with the world of 3D to follow what artists produce. We really like the work of MIR, Alex Roman, 3DNotos and Squint Opera. Here in Brazil we also have contact with many talents and always exchange information. We admire the work of Fernando Gasperin, Valmor E. Bona Jr., Ramon Zancanaro, Gustavo Coutinho, Matheus Passos and Ricardo Eloy. They are great friends and excellent professionals.

3DA: What would you suggest to people that are approaching to 3D and architecture?
BL: To have patience and believe in their work. You must also be passionate about the profession. It is necessary to have pleasure in what you do so you can show your best in each new job. In each image it is important to pay close attention to every detail. It’s the details that make the difference. Finally, it is also very important to keep studying and seeking information to stay up to date with the market.
