3DA: How did you start working in 3D field? How much time has passed and what kind of studies did you do?
J: I began to recognize 3D in 2002, when I was working in webdesign as graphic designer for websites. I went to college and graduated in 1997 in the field of graphic design, but for a long time I had worked in the field of architecture and interior design. In 2002 I started to work in 3D which I learned myself.

3DA: Which are your favourite software and plugins for your daily projects?
J: Eventually I was using Cinema 4D with V-ray and Carrara 8pro. I chose this software because it is fast and not heavy to run 3D applications.

3DA: Tell us something about a project that gave you great satisfactions
J: I am most proud of the projects when I designed some cafes of international class and some luxurious interior for apartments especially in Jakarta-Indonesia, also some hotels in Hawaii (USA) and in the Middle East countries.

3DA: From where do you take inspiration for your artworks?
J: Nowadays you can find a lot of inspiring reference for your project in internet. Also I like to look for inspiration in our Indonesian culture.

3DA: How do you live this period of economic crisis? How is it in your country?
J: At this time our country is not in such a crisis. There are a lot of construction projects going on, so the field of architecture does not experience huge problems.

3DA: What would you suggest to people that are approaching to 3D and architecture?
J: For beginners I could advice to do a lot of learning and knowing the intricacies in the field of architecture and interior design, never to be satisfied with the success you have achieved, because the 3D-design level is growing every year. So when you have started your way in 3D-wold you should be responsible for your own results.
