3DA: How did you start working in 3D field? How much time has been passed and what kind of studies did you do?
DM: I started learning 3D since I still was in class 3 Junior High School (2002). The First 3D software that I learned was 3ds Max 4 developed that time by Discreet and i studied it by my own from 3ds Max tutorials by Deddy Syamsuddin as makers of them (from 2003- to 2005) (thanks for 3ds Max learning from basic to advance). In addition I was learning from the tutorials published in magazines, I also participated actively in the forum
vraykita and IndoCG.com (where used to be a part of architecture). It’s already 9 years that I work in the 3D field, but I don’t want the simple position, I want a career! Therefore I lecture as architect, and this is also really important for me.

3DA: How do you live this period of economic crisis? How is it in your country?
DM: In our country, 3D images are still cannot properly rewarded. Because each client requires 3D for different needings and function. Every place in Indonesia has different prices. But “Alhamdulillah!” I’m surviving with 3D, I can study at college, I can give some money to support my parents etc…Anyway, as you probably understood, I love this job :)

3DA: What would you suggest to people that are approaching to 3D and architecture?
DM: Don’t be shy for showing your work in forum for getting comments and critics. Learn everytime you show your works. Keep your heart to learn this 3D world, try to get trial and learn from errors that invariably appears in every project. As long as we’ve had efforts Inshallah sustenance comes…trust me because I feel it!
