3DA: Why have you decided to work in 3d-field and when have you started?
AD: I am an architect, so it was natural to learn 3D programs to be able to express my dreams and to show my thoughts correctly and convincingly to my customers.

3DA: Describe to our readers your usual workflow
AD: First, of course, meet the customer and understand what he wants, what is going on in his mind. Then looking at catalogs, magazines and Internet sites, I find what is close to his ideas and draw sketches for customer to make sure of my understanding fully as requested. Then I start drawing the idea in 3d programs, I chose the program to be able easier to achieve the idea quickly and top quality, for example in most of the external perspectives using ArchiCAD program and do not use 3ds Max because ArchiCAD more precisely and has largest architectural libraries, After the completion of the construction work process renders, often use the engine V-ray because I love it and always it gives me the desired results, Then I give work to the customer and wait for amendments, if any.

3DA: What was most difficult for you when you just started working in 3D? And what is now?
AD: The difficulty when I started was that the world of graphics was very large and huge, and I did not know the first step to start and what was the best program to learn it, as each friend advised me the program was different from the other, which forced me to learn a lot of programs that has similar results. Currently thankfully there are no difficulties only in the first phase which is to understand what is going on in the mind of the customer.

3DA: Looking back on your education process what you would have changed now? And what you consider right and would do exactly the same?
AD: Now of course tutorials are available in abundance and also educational sites and free video tutorials. That was not well in the past.  If I would start learning now, my steps would be quite different, for example, I would learn from professional educational courses  – that would dramatically shorten the time necessary to learn, and there are also many web-sites that offer these courses.

3DA: Which was the biggest problem that you faced working on a project and how have you solved it?
AD: The biggest problem that I faced was a long time that is required for a computer to process renders. The obvious solution will be  to develop the hardware and buy new hardware, but I also use online render-sites as well.

3DA: What forecast you can make about the future of 3d-world in general?
AD: Actually, I think that the near future will bring many surprises in the world of the technology. For example, soon we will end operations renders and we will rely mainly on processor graphics card  for real-time renders. the other trend that I notice is the mass creation of libraries. So I think that soon it will be a normal practice to use ready-made library elements without any necessity to model every piece – most of the furniture companies will provide free models of their production.
