My advice is the following: pay attention to everything around you, think outside the box and develop your personal style.
Name: Abdulatif Abidov
Job: Designer & CG Artist
3DA: Why have you decided to work in 3d-field and when have you started? Where you studied?
AA: It all started in 2012, when I was working at a furniture factory. Once I saw what magic our designers were creating with CG, and got interested in the programs they use. Then I bought my first computer and began to learn 3ds Max, Vray. My only education is a high-school , but next year I plan to study architecture at a university.
3DA: Which software you usually use for your projects? What has surprised you in the software/plugins for CG during the last year?
AA: I usually make y projects with 3ds Max, Corona render, Marvelous Designer and Adobe Photoshop for postproduction. I was really and pleasantly surprised with a recent edition of Corona render — I really like the technology of this renderer and I think it has a good future.
3DA: What was most difficult for you when you just started working in 3D? And what is now?
AA: If we speak about the tie when I just started to learn 3ds Max, then the great problem was to make a render with mood and high quality. I wished to create images like Muhammad Taher, I really like his works. Today it is difficult for me to keep up with the progress in design. And of course I want to fulfill my creative ideas.
3DA: What you can advise to the students who are just starting their way in CG?
AA: My advice is – pay attention to everything around you, think outside the box and develop your personal style.
3DA: What forecast you can make about the future of 3d-world in general?
AA: The field of digital technologies is always growing and 3D is also not left behind. It’s quite useless to make forecasts, but I can just say that CG has a brilliant future.
