3DA: How did you start working in 3D field? How much time has passed and what kind of studies did you do?
GN: I started making visualizations of architectural projects, interiors and industrial products in 1998. Before that I worked for several office furniture manufactures. I studied interior design and Photography. A perfect combination for this work (I think).

3DA: Which are your favourite software and plugins for your daily projects?
GN: Like most 3D artist I work with 3dsMax, Vray, and Photoshop. I like using plug-ins like Forestpack pro, Multiscatter, floor generator, mightytiles, HDRI from Peter Guthrie and the models from designconnected.

3DA: Tell us something about a project that gave you great satisfactions.
GN: Even after 15 years I still love my work every day. The last few years I made hundreds of artist impressions for standard Dutch house projects. But now I love to make interiors and more exclusive houses.
Last year I really like the project I made for ARX architect.nl in China. And a project in Saudi Arabia for Tony Billetof ABsketches

3DA: How do you live this period of economic crisis? How is it in your country?
GN: The architectural market is still bad in Holland, but I am alone at the office, so I just need a few good projects. 2012 was my worst year ever . But in December I made a newsletter and send to all my LinkedIn connections and I use social media as much as possible. And now I am very glad it’s getting busy again.
